Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) Services at NCOESC

NCOESC provides comprehensive Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) services dedicated to supporting students with communication disorders that impact their educational performance. Our team of highly qualified SLPs offers a range of services, beginning with thorough assessment and diagnostic evaluations to identify students experiencing delays in speech and language development. Following identification, we develop individualized therapy plans designed to target specific communication challenges and promote improvement in areas such as articulation, fluency, voice, and receptive/expressive language.

A cornerstone of our service delivery is collaboration. Our SLPs work closely with district personnel, including teachers and administrators, as well as parents and other relevant service providers, to ensure a cohesive and supportive intervention approach. We are committed to maintaining strict compliance with all federal and state special education laws and regulations. Furthermore, NCOESC SLPs play an active role in developing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with identified speech and language delays, ensuring that their unique needs are addressed within their educational plan. Recognizing the importance of ongoing professional growth, we also provide professional development support to district personnel, enhancing their understanding of speech and language communication and fostering a collaborative environment to best support student success.
